Cookie policy

What Inky stores on your device, why we store it, and how you can change your choices at any time.

    What cookies are

Cookies are small files placed on your device by the sites you visit. Inky uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage to make the app work and to understand how it is being used. You control the non-essential categories through the cookie banner.

  2. 02

    Strictly necessary

These keep you signed in, secure your session, remember your cookie choice, and enforce the Try Free allowance: one free comic per browser (via the inky_guest cookie and a hashed device signal) within a rolling 30-day window, plus a small shared limit for the same network IP. Inky will not work correctly without them, so they are always on and cannot be disabled.

  3. 03

    Statistics

If you allow statistics cookies, we collect anonymous information about which pages people visit and where the app falls short. We use this only to improve Inky. These cookies stay disabled until you consent.

  4. 04

    Marketing

If you allow marketing cookies, they may be used to measure advertising campaigns and show you more relevant ads across platforms. These cookies stay disabled until you consent, and are cleared again if you withdraw it.

  5. 05

    Local storage

While generating a comic without an account, Inky temporarily keeps your draft in your browser's local storage so you don't lose it. This is not a cookie and never leaves your device; clearing your browser data removes it.

  6. 06

    Payments

When you pay for credits you are redirected to our payment provider's hosted checkout. That provider may set its own cookies to process the payment securely; those are outside Inky's control and covered by the provider's own policy.

    Changing your choices

You can review or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. You can also clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings, which will sign you out and reset your preferences.
