How do credits work?

Each generation spends credits based on length. A 4-panel comic strip costs 3 credits in the MVP. Regenerating a single panel costs 1 credit. Failed generations are refunded automatically. New accounts receive 5 free credits after email verification.

Can I use generated comics commercially?

Comics you generate are yours to use. You are responsible for ensuring your prompts and characters do not infringe on existing rights. Avoid copyrighted characters and franchise names.

Can I regenerate only one panel?

Yes — open any completed comic in the Editor and regenerate the panel you want redone. Single-panel regenerations cost 1 credit each.

What formats can I export?

The MVP supports PNG export of the final 4-panel layout, including dialogue and captions where available. More formats may arrive later.

Why do characters sometimes change between panels?

AI image models can drift across panels. Detailed, consistent character descriptions help, and you can regenerate any panel that drifts too far.

Are my comics private?

Yes. By default everything you make is private to your account. You can flip individual comics public by creating a share link — and revoke that link at any time.

What happens if a generation fails?

If a comic fails for a technical reason, you are not charged. Credits are only spent after a successful generation.

Can I get a refund for failed generations?

Credits for failed generations are returned automatically. If something still looks wrong, contact support and we will review the case.
